Balatonfüred Congress Centre - Complete stage technology design and construction
A four-season congress centre has been constructed in Balatonfüred; during the erection of the congress centre we performed the entire stage technology design and construction.
We were only able to place the control of the upper stage machinery on the stage space. In addition, the mechanical assemblies of the auditorium lighting holders have been constructed in a way visible to the viewers.
Therefore, we had to hide the control cabinets and the lighting supports.
The receiving structure of the mobile chairs placed on the orchestra pit had to be designed so that the cladding remains aesthetic even after the removal of the chairs.
► Since we had to place the control of the upper stage machinery in the stage space, we placed the control of the upper stage machinery in the smallest possible control cabinets.
The braking resistors for the control are placed above the control cabinets to reduce the space requirements of the system.
The visible parts of the auditorium lighting supports - apart from the safety devices - are painted black, so they harmonize with the supporting structures of the acoustic suspended ceiling in their appearance.
Thus during construction the requirement of “not taking the viewer’s attention with anything” has been fulfilled.
► we used special internal keyhole screws for rotating mobile chairs, which fit exactly into the holes in the floor.

The purpose of the building: multifunctional congress centre. The complex, consisting of basically large spaces, is able to flexibly accommodate large events, conferences, balls and exhibitions.
The building consists of three large, distinct spatial groups: a lobby with its associated exhibition space, a 650-seat plenary room, as well as section rooms.

► Technological description
*Safety Integrity Level (SIL)
In order to ensure that a system does not become dangerous to people and the environment in an emergency, operational safety requires systematic planning.
SIL specifications are therefore key criteria for equipment manufacturing. SIL stands for Safety Integrity Level.
SIL is an international measure used to classify the operational safety of a system.
There are three such levels in theatre technology, ranging from SIL1 to SIL3, the latter of which requires the most stringent measures due to the greatest risk.
In particular, this means that from the probabilities of failure of the components it creates accurate risk assessment, takes measures to minimize the residual risks, selects the appropriate tools and, finally, ensures the correct compliance of the SIL functions by means of repeated checks.
